Speaking of lighting up, how do one light up the upper LCD?

LV - Live View
Thank you! I think I will miss the SR on/off button. I also don't know if the previous "Fn" button is completely changed to Menu.

Couldn't they have used a smaller LCD and keep the positions of the buttons more or less the same???
i agree with the exception of the smaller LCD. Imo it would be better if the camera was a lil bit bigger than than K10D/K20D with 3" LCD and with similar button layout and design of the body as K10D/K20D

I need a SR switch, when shooting stuff in low light I switch between SR and no SR to do pans all the time.

Edit: Darnit, I've fallen into the trap and am complaining about something thats not even released yet and that I wont have enough cash to buy for another year anyhow.

It's funny .. where there are no news about K-7, only some first speculations, most people here wrote they wanna smaller body .. now when it's smaller people wanna bigger body. I don't like small bodies, but I don't understand why people have problem whne it's finished..

It seems like they've moved the Fn functions to either the arrows or a dedicated button like the new ISO button...

Maybe SR in one one of the arrow keys, since ISO is up top.

The front looks cool, but I don't like the back
Anyway, why do I bother, I won't be able to afford it for at least another 1 1/2 year.
One more thing though:

Looking at the first pic, writing on the lens says:
SMC Pentax DA 1:3.5 - 5.6 18-55mm AL WR

what is WR???

Have you moticed any ill-effect of SR on panning?
I haven't. I even used SR on tripod and guess what, the tripod did not shake!!!!

According to more or less confirmed rumors, the lens is a Weather Resistant version of the kit lens. A perfect companion!

@Axl - WR stands for Weather resistant I believe.

I don't like the back as well, as someone put it - looks cheap...K20D looks a lot better. But maybe it's a fake inspired by X70 back
