I wouldn't care much about Sony. Last year they had $3 blln losses and some factories to close. Pass on. Canon and Nikon will follow.

Geez, give people what they ask for and it's not good enough!!

Yes the K-7 is a refreshed K20D of sorts but there is enough for many to upgrade to it, I for one will be VERY happy with the K7 if the IQ is equal to the K20d's ( except better at hi iso ) but with the faster fps and af, plus the video, win win for me.

Oh the DUNKABLE sealing is a good thing to, now I won't be afraid of going on a kayaking trip with the cam in white water.

As I don't use 1/8000th of a second and work primarily at 100 iso, I may hang in there till I get to test it out. My 3 K20D bodies have very little ware, as I rotate them during photo shoots. If the IQ is appreciably better, perhaps.

Image quality of K20D at ISO100 with DA* zooms or primes leaves nothing to be improved (at the given # of pixels). So, how could IQ be appreciably better for your style of photography?

What make a quite good point here for our new K body is 5.2 fps with 1/8000s and AF system. Hope it also happen for the IQ but with the same CMOS, we have to wait til release.

On the contrary, I still prefer the FF K-Body and pass on this.
