I've returned mine already - build quality was too vapory. I'm waiting for a K-8 and won't take a single photo until it's released.

Is this thread for real?

People are already complaining?

Jaysus.

I thought this was going to be a joke thread.

I want a tank full of them with laser beams on their pentaprisms. Is that too much to ask?

I am concerned that the K7 thread was begun without an obvious exit strategy.

I am also becoming firmly convinced that the K7 will cost real cash.
I am alarmed about the rumors that the the K7 will cost real cash. I am also real bummed that the battery is too weak to jump start my car in an emergency. But the thing that really upsets me is that it is not available in puce and that the aroma therapy option will only be available in Tibet.

Amazing as it isn't even out yet, no official specs, and no hands-on experience. Like they say, don't knock it til you try it.

1. No 1/250 flash sync
2. No bracketing button
3. No 14-bit raws

I'll be back later with more complains!
1. 1/180 or 1/250 - i don't care. I use in-camera flash several times per year.
2. no manual yet. K-7 has very complex menu.
3. 14-bit raw is some kind of marketing trick. do you really think that 14-bit raw is much better than 12-bit? ONLY with white colours objects. it's all.

  • I am sure that the manual will be substandard, not that anyone will read it
  • The rumo(u)r is that both Canon and Nikon will announce 28-bit raw sometime next week
