Okay, let's discuss in that earlier thread, then.

Yes, it really is!

The twin lens kit is wonderful! - a fully and truly weather resist working set.

Kind of an odd position for the +/- and ISO buttons; assuming that means it's a one-click then dial to set your desired exposure compensation or ISO?

Also interesting to see the battery options!

So what is the new "super secret" feature we kept getting teased with?

This is just idle speculation, but perhaps that little bump across from the AF-assist lamp is a GPS unit?

Are you serious? I really hope you are kidding. That is a joke if it is the "new feature". We sent the k10d into space and it got a lot colder than that.

English version of the hands-on gallery

As the author of the original hands-on article, I am now presenting to you a flickr hands-on gallery with English descriptions. I am on a busy day at work here so I won't be able to answer many questions. I can't emphasize this enough: the body I had access to only had firmware 0.20, so I would not evaluate actual performance of this body. That's why I posted mainly images of the exterior and some menu items of interest.

Thanks!

Man this thing is small. Look at the guy holding it! Damn. Still, while it's not everything I would've hoped for, it does seem pretty awesome.

I wonder if it will record sound as shown. Or if it requires a seperate mic??? You would think with all the weather sealing it would require a seperate mic. Can anyone direct me to the right page of the mega thread that discusses that?

BTW, thanks Peter for sharing this with us!!!
