My F50 1.7 focuses perfectly in daylight at +3 setting, but in tungsten light, I have to dial in a -7!!! Mixed light is a nightmare for focus at F1.7-2.8
thats a 10 point difference. Although my 50-135mm does not require such a large adjustment. +1 and -3 respectively.
To me its as bad as the VPN on my K10D. or do you want to tell me that does not exist either.
I hope AF is more reliable.
I know... I was being sarcastic since I had this AF accuracy problem (and not only in tungsten) myself and it was a sizeable part of what threw me out of the Pentax DSLR arena and into the greedy hands of Canon... but since some persons insisted that there was no such problem (the always famous "user error " was invoked), I guess Pentax just went thrue all this work for nothing.
(I insist:
)
(And I also had VPN with the K10,... and HPN with the grip,... and a crooked VF,... and some large underexposure problems on overcast days,... that was a bit too much for me so I took some "vacations" until Pentax sorted it out... )
