Do we need yet another post with "specs" copied word by word from RH blog?

I wish to say the same, but I don't think I'll have cash for it
though it reads good...

Well, by the time I have enough quarters saved up the new K-8 or K-6 or K-whatever will be out and the price will have dropped enough for me to afford it. IIRC I've paid about $700 for each the DS, the K10D and now the K20D. I just wait 2 years and it's within reach!

NaCl(my body "de-appreciates" also; unfortunately I can't wait 2 years and pick up a new model )H2O

No, but do we have a choice?
Btw, those "specs" are not 100% taken from an official press release/specification list; the words "Crippled K-mount" proves some editing was done.

"ME Too"? Actually this, like the K10D and K20D are not "me too" cameras. The K20D did video like 21fps mode and no one too notice, every other company jumped and did real video modes and now PEntax is the first with manual controls in video mode and it's a "mee toooo"

Regardless let them claim me to all the want, we'll just be shooting while they watch in envy

It's still too early for me to tell if this is the place I upgrade. On the one hand I like some of the projected new features. The improved autofocus sounds good, the improved colors etc and the 920,000 3 inch screen. However, I like the substantial size and feel of my K10D. I'm not sure I'm ready to go to something smaller. I may just upgrade to the K20D, but I'll wait until I read the reviews to see how much better the autofocus is and to see how the new K7 does at the higher ISOs.
