If they plan for it to have more longevity than the K10 or K20, the price may be more reasonable to encourage steady sales. If it's going to have the same lifecycle, they'll probably price it high because most people who buy it straight away will buy it anyway.
Then the price will drop to catch the rest of us.
I'm probably going to buy it sooner rather than later if it comes even close to affordable for me. I figure if I were to rent it, it'd probably be $250 a month or more, and there's no way the price will drop that fast.
