Pentax K7 and specs on BH

Pentax | K-7 SLR Digital Camera | B&H Photo Video

Already on the site and a price of 1200 USD for body only, sorry if this was posted before.

I didn't post in Rumors since it is news, but now I realize it should have gone in the News section. Maybe a mod will move it.

I said I would get a K20D then stop.

The K7's mouth watering details is gone force me to keep on going.

Dang it!

Gee the price sort of proves that this is the 20D replacement as it's around the same price as the 20D when it was launched.

Thought I read somewhere that the antialiasing filter was removable. Not in specs. Guess it was wishful thinking on my part

I'm disappointed by that as well. Likewise with the fact that it only has 11 point AF. But ISO6400 and an increase in fps is nice. (Even if it is only 5.2.)

Let's go, guys & gals. Get those K20Ds listed in the marketplace -- you have customers waiting.

"Electronic Level Indicator" sounds useful--could save you money on tripod heads.

If you shoot in raw on any camera, there is no demosaicing until you convert from raw to some other format. EDIT: Although, pingflood pointed out that you're talking about this. Never mind then.

Don't think I'll trade in the K20D for this unless the noise level at the higer ISO greatly improves.

Anyone know if the grip (which looks like it will support double AA batteries) will be downward compatible with the K10 and K20?

Pertty sure the answer to that is NO - they are using a newer battery as well (and I think double AA's can be used in the grip)
