...a healthy batch of pre-orders...also it looks like those who ordered on the first couple days got a bit better pricing than later? I'm hearing higher prices than what I got for pre-order.

BTW, in US, which online retailer do you guys think would be able to ship it fastest? Probably the pentax online store itself? The price seems all the same on pentax store, adorama, buydig, B&H.

It's funny... i also see a similarity between apple and pentax, yet Aperture doesn't support Pentax for tethered shooting.

And "Me too", i have preordered in Aus. $1485 for body only! Woo hoo!
I wonder if i notice between the K7 and my K100d?

I have always thought Apple and Pentax are very analogous. Too bad Apple's support of Pentax file formats is so terrible.

I just pulled the trigger. I was hoping I could hold out till Xmas, but I just read too many good things. Looks like a lot of pork and beans and Spam for a few months.

are you kidding me? it's SPAM !!! but anyway, I'm just about to pull the trigger if only some shops here have pre-orders. Yeah, I hate transport orders. coz I hate the long waiting time it takes for the item to get through customs. 3 days of waiting is an eternity for me !

Can't wait to hear the reviews and see the photos from these beauties as soon as you get them.

For me, I doubt Id need a K-7, or could justify the purchase at this time. The video feature holds no draw for me, either. (Of course, I say this now....watch me flip like a hot pancake when its actually released.)
So, I'll sit in the shadows and wait for the K20D to drop a little in price ( I hope )
and grab one with my ninja-like, shutter-trigger happy fingers!

I will be waiting a matter of months for the price to drop some. once it hits sub $1000 I will be snatching one up.

Not sure about Kerrisdale's but there are 6 or 7 pre-order packages at London Drugs (different lens combos)
