It seems to be REAL!

And, if it is to be a KAF3 lens, it possibly could be real (space for the AF gears can be saved).

Maybe the FF lenses are making a comeback to allow use on film cameras.
It makes sense to only make FF lenses, it allows for the possibility of a FF DSLR and there are true advantages to FF lenses for cropped sensors, less problem with softness at the edges.

FF lenses are coming back for only one reason - planning for a FF DSLR in the future! Film? Who would care about film SLR nowadays? :-)

Awesome! I'm glad I walked away from Nikon and switched to Pentax. I can't wait for a FF Pentax DSLR (Preferably with a Samsung CMOS Sensor)! The D FA 50mm 1.0 sounds like it is going to kick butt!

Thank You Pentax & Hoya!!!

That thread *was* originally only about the 50/1.0. As I have not checked back again after the first read, I did not notice that new photos are updated.

A 400mm f/4.0????? That's my dream lens come true if they make it. SDM and quiet......weather-sealed goodness.....I could weep with joy over that one!!!

I'd take out a personal loan for that one!
(no doubt, I'd need a personal loan for that one )

This better not be a tease.....that would be too cruel!

Good for bird shooting, especially on a 1.4X SDM compatible TC! The Kenko PZ one is usable, although optically it is just so-so.

I guess it will be doubled the price of the DA*300/4, which is already very expensive.

The DFA 645 lineup is for the 645D, the rest is for 135/APS-C Pentax DSLRs.
