I am highly skeptical that there will be FF. Those lenses may come but FF???? Dunno. I wouldn't bank on it.

I'll collect Taks just in case.

I'm not so interested since I know I can't afford FF anyway. Just think how crazy expensive it is if Pentax release a DFA 50mm F/1.0? And 135mm F/2.8? How interesting is that when there's an excellent 50-135mm to cover the range.

Well maybe I was just being naive there RH and I'm sure you are correct, you usually are.
But I'm sure many of those who still use film will be pleased.

If this is true (which I won't belive until I see that 50mm 1.0) it is great news!

I'm with RiceHigh on this one, but I think FF lenses would should only come back for two reason: recycling old lens designs to save money, or planing for a FF body. DFA* 20mm F2.8 SDM could be in the first category, DFA* 50mm F1.0 SDM is for sure completely new to Pentax so that would mean FF body in planing. Finally!

If Pentax feel they have the resources to make a FF body it's about time they did so. IMO they are bound to do so sooner or later if they want to be in the game with the big players.

When they have put out the FF DSLR and 645D they can start planing the 67D, now wouldn't that be something

A 67D would make the competition green with envy. I don't think that's happening any time soon tho.

That secret lens roadmap looks real to me. I'm excited about the 20mm, 135mm and 400mm. But why not make the 135mm f/2.0?

Some funky stuff going on with Pentax these days ... I like it.

Good point Fejker... it must surely come out far cheaper than the da 50-135 if f.28

Few reports/reviews I've read so far on the DA* 60-250 claim that it covers a full 135 frame... if we add that into the equation... ?

WOW - I hope its true

If this is true then this clearly signals that Hoya seem to be investing heavily in Pentax and want the raise the brand image to a level where it can compete with C/N.

In so far as the 50 f1.0 it would be fantastic just to have it in the line up. It would earn Pentax a lot of kudos.

The other lenses are all plausible and make a lot of sense. After all they already have the basic design for both the 20 2.8 and the 135 f2.8 updating the design for digital sensors should not be out of their reach. The 400 f/4 is also quite plausible and has been hinted at in the roadmap in the past.

This also implies that Pentax could be prepping for launching FF body. I hope this is true because it means that Pentax / Hoya are truly determined to clawing their way back to be one of the market leaders.

Many DA lenses (including 60-250) cover 35mmm film. I was a bit suprised to see that even DA 21/3.2 Limited doesn't vignete when looking through a 35mm camera viewfinder. But I guess the problem here is image quality outside APSC circle.

I never thought Pentax would ever go FF. Well if it happens it won't happen before 645D which is scheduled for 2010.

Because it's a Limited. Limited lenses tend to sacrifice a bit of speed for size. If this is real (which I doubt) I expect it to be smaller than the traditional 135/2.8, probably with a reduced image circle. It could potentially be a really good super-small 200/2.8 equivalent.

Great! Now we know the guy (?) also has a word processor and a printer...

Seriously though, the D-FA 50f1 seems a bit "over the top" to me: crazy large, crazy expensive and usually pretty poor optically at max aperture (even the Noctilux)... and that's not even counting the added difficulty to make it cover FF...

The rest is plausible but the f1 makes it look like a follow up on the "1/8000 F1" picture of the K7 LCD: I'd say 80% chance of an hoax...
