I cannot seem to see what this has to do with Pentax News and Rumours.

Am I missing something in the link?

It is news, if not Pentax related, at least Pentax community related. Jan's tests of Pentax's SR system are very practical and convincing albeit slightly playful, not too scientific and sometimes a bit cryptic. But they have become legendary nevertheless!!

Though I'm not sure Jan has gotten the right tool this time, considering the K-7's SR will also have compensation for rotational movement around the Z-axis, and I'm not sure Jan's SR tester is sufficiently equipped for this.

New SR compensates movement around the Z-Axis, not the Y-Axis... The zero turn will turn around the Y-Axis.

But as indicated on DPR, driving one wheel into a pothole should do the trick as well.

A new Shake Tester! Hooray!

Janneman, eagerly awaiting the results! I have only one question. If each new camera requires a new "tester", won't your tool shed/garage soon be overwhelmed with "Shake Testers? Tho I must admit tis a beautiful mower...er...shake tester!

A Toro...Nice! Must be nice to be rich, Janneman...what's it like?

You've got to figure out something for the Y axis, though...

Cheers,
Cameron
