The sailing shots would would probably have been taken as press shots for the Ericsson team before the current Volvo Round the World Race...
ie. They're most likely about 12 months old... Very unlikely to be K-7.

Not to mention that whatever they were taken with, a waterproof housing would have been used anyway. So it's absolutely no reflection of the weather-sealing ability...

Those sailing shots come from Boston.com as noted on the blog while the baby photos are taken by K-7 and FA31.

The blogger, whose initials is YJP, is a Pentax Shanghai employee. These new baby pics were taken with a K-7 (0.20 firmware) and the FA 31 Limited lens.
