50mm f/1.0, a few 645 lenses as well. And THE MOST interesting to me, 135mm f/2.8 limited lens.

(Unfortunately) this is an old rumor: the pictures were shown to have been manipulated. Nothing to see here, really.

Old news, but wouldn't a 135mm f2.0 be great !!!!!

They already have the 135mm f2.8 in their zoom, of course a single focal length in f2.8 would be a lot smaller, but a f2.0 would be real nice :-)

But seriously, I think it would be much viser to reintroduce the FA-135/2.8 as a DFA-135/2.8. The 1.8 is a bit extreme.
And DA*50-135 does not replace a prime 135 since it has its weakest point at 135mm, optically. Meanwhile, I can recommend the DFA100/2.8 macro. It's not only a macro lens but also a good portrait etc lens, and the closest we get to a 135mm prime right now.
In any case, this rumor was obviously a fake, allthough entertaining.

The consensus is that the rumor is false. What makes it particularly unlikely was that the F:1.0 lens was supposed to be an FF lens. Such a fast lens would have been seen as slightly more feasible if it was an APS lens (ie DA*).
In addition, a 25/2.8 (equivalent to an 15/2.8 for FF) for the 645 system is both uneccesary at this speed and highly unlikely.

I dont like f2.8 primes unless they are very wide or very long.
A 135mm f2.0 with very good performance wide open and nice bokeh would be interesting though. I wouldnt be able to justify a 135mm f2.8 if I had zooms convering the same fl

I would much rather Pentax lisence the Voigtlander SL 180mm f/4 APO-Lanthar and add AF. It would fit very well with the concept of the Limited series, small and compact yet high quality.

And it might not be too expensive

Bring back the 135 f1.8!!!

I'd rather have a faster 135mm, but considering the current DA* lenses, it will probably be really sharp wide open.

I can imagine the 400 f/4 will be popular.

The DFA* 20mm f/2.8 looks very interesting, as does the idea of a DFA* 50mm f/1.0. I know it will be quite big, and Pentax make small gear, but don't care, they have to make it.

I have the Pentax F 135mm f2.8 and it's very nice. Pictures are sharp wide open. My only gripe is the AF hunts a bit and is very noisy. Can't wait to see how this will be on pre-ordered k-7
