Thanks for the links.

Seems the two photos don't have the same exposure, the K-7 photo is obviously brighter. Not really a fair comparison I think.

Just wait for a couple more days, I'm sure we'd see a lot similar comparisons

Anyway K-7 has better colours.

deliberately pict from k20 are more dark and this is disadvantage...

why cant someone that can test the camera properly get one. So far we got one that has gone on a drinking spree, one that has come from a canon.

We want some serius K-7 Action!!

Still sitting here, lenses or k-7, lenses or k-7... WHAT TO GET!!

K20D was 1300 USD too.
It's APS-C cameras with 14.6 MP. Much better noise could be only at FF cameras with bigger pixels.

I have done a tiny bit of out of character pixel peeping.

Tweaked a 800 ISO DNG file. Pushed it +2EV. Judging from that file, K-7 handles under exposure a lot better than K20D.

One odd thing. LR 1.4 reads EXIF saying K-7. That puzzles me.

The two photos have markedly different exposures, and, thus, cannot be compared. For an additional $700, the K-7 has many improvements over the K20D and is a bargain compared to the likes of the D300. Only you can decide if it is worth the added expense to you.
