If I were in Japan, I'd have my copy as well :-P Seems like a lot of retailers are letting their customers pick up their units the day before (26th) after a certain time. My retailer told me it's be ready after 4PM. My brother should've picked it up for me, but I haven't heard from him yet!

If they are swapping sensors at the last minute, I'd skip the first batch.

You'd better get one now. If there are problems there wil be a recall and you will get a more updated version than thos who wait to buy...

hahaha...there is an excellent logic to that!!

BTW, of course this happens on the day my K20D is OFD...and the day after my fridge croaked....I might need to wait a month after all....d'oh!!

K7's noise profile does not contain that ugly magenta-green puke as does k20d's.

Hard to tell. Real sensitivity* and WB don't seem to be the same.

EXIF says 3200 ISO, 1/250, and f:20.
Using a * lens and f:20 in a camera test is pretty odd IMO.

I think we need more samples.

*Or whatever it is that makes the K-7 sample look brighter, Could be changes in light.
