WTF are they thinking? I was really keen on getting the K7 but out of principle I'm seriously thinking about changing brands.
Principles are the first things to go in a crisis.....

What an utter piss take. I hope Sigma don't think they're missing a trick...
Oh they (and Tamron and Tokina) will rise as well, they have the same yen problem and the same raw materials and the same decreasing market....
More people won't buy third party lenses than there will be buyers who go third party instead of "their own"brand

Sigma raised their prices a few months ago - at least in UK.
For some time they were actually more expensive then Pentax... Well, not any more...

I was a bit hot and bothered when I wrote that earlier, that and the fact I've been dropping hints for a new lens for my birthday but her indoors won't front that kind of cash. I think blaming the economy and exchange rates on these price increases is nonsense.

What?? Do you suggest that it is a worldwide conspiracy started by "her indoors" so that there is an excuse to get you something else???
That really is stretching it.

Hope the FA 77 won't get a 77% increase
