That is "gold" (metallic), not yellow, and a cheap looking golden at that with a rather off-putting hue to it.

This is more along the lines of bumblebee yellow colour:

Too bad I'm not in the market for a P&S these days. My ME super/M40 got the compact covered.

Hee. I don't know about that gold-tone.

Kind of looking forward to this being the model-of-a-couple-of years ago. I bet the blue ones'll be cheap, and my sweetie likes that shade.
