good news canucks. your K-7 has finally arrived in B.C. better check out the retail stores where you pre-ordered your K-7s. Vancouver has them now in stock (not pre-ordered stock). happy shooting ! WOHOO !!!

K-7 is sealed, does not mean it can swim... Penax still needs to collect the big bucks from the increased prces, until then, they probably cannot afford the ferry

Don't waste your time, nothing much downtown yet, I was there couple of hours ago, probably be there early next week. Either that or Gastown Photo has been ignored by Pentax and shipped them to everyone else!

there are retail units for sale. probably 1, 2 or 3 units. but you need to come by tommorow coz the shop where I got the K-7 is now closed for business.

you could try out 3 of the well-known camera stores in Vancouver. I'm pretty sure they have them in stock.
or you could go directly to Multiple Electronics. they are a Pentax dealer, but they also sell retail as well.

No such option, I paid in full for both body and grip a couple of months ago... just have to wait now!

that's ok mayt. I dont think the K-7 would break within a year. but come to mind about the shutter lifespan, the extended warranty could be of real use after more than a year of extensive use.
