Pentax K-7 in Europe ?

That's good news, hopefully my dealer gets a camera also. He said though that he would get just one from the first batch.

Also remember when the da* 60-250mm f/4 finally came out some of the first where here in the UK/europe as ned hadn't recieved his when samples were put up taken in the UK

According to the De Beukelaer BV, the Dutch Pentax distributor, the K-7 will be shipped to dealers at the end of this week. Finally... days always seem to last forever when you're waiting for something new

The next batch will follow shortly after the first shipment...

A friend of mine pre-ordered from scandinavianphoto.no, and his K-7 is now on the way to him. Hopefully I'll get mine from fovi.no in the near future as well.

Other Norwegian webstores are still postponing their estimated delivery date each day..

I preordered some 3 weeks ago. Yesterday my distributor told me they should receive the first shipment by the end of the week. We will see ...

Not exactly.
It is in stores in Germany all over the place.
I walked in a local photo store on Saturday and they had K-7 in the shelves.
Same for the big chains, from what I heard.

The word still is that the cameras will arrive at De Beukelaer today (15 July), after which they will be on their way to the stores... I'm still hoping to pick up my K-7 on Friday. Since I have a week-end in Normandy (France) planned that would enable me a nice test run. But if I end up having to take the K20D on one last trip, I won't mind too much...
