I got some information, no official, but I hope somebody confirm it.

-The prime lens is a (large aperture wide angle fixed) 35mm (35mm equivalent), maybe a 24mm APS
-The big zoom is not a telezoom (no confirm yet) this is a zoom like 18-200 or 18-250mm
-Nothing about the standard zoom
-These lenses has double focus system: contrast AF motor-assisted and manual focus limited. The second switch (the first one is for IS) allow to use the manual focus like SLR lenses.
-EVF is not completely ready, but it is funtional in NX10 preproduction model.
-Samsung plans release 2 new lenses in December, one zoom and one fixed. (Samsung we are waiting for camera now...)
-NX have been slightly redesigned specially the grip and EVF area
-Wll have a K-mount adapter (AF?, I don´t know) and M-mount, but they won´t be release with the camera

No picture until now...

I find the GH1 more appealing than the unpriced & unissued & unspec'd Samsung NX and their unissued Optron-Tec Glass.

Is $1,500 for a camera with HD lens with image stabilization included that much money thesedays compared to all other HD capable dslrs?

It seems one could drop $2,699 on a 5D Mark II & get no glass or assessories

versus

$1,499 GH1 with HD 14-140mm HD lens plus $1,100 for ultrawide 7-14mm f4 for $100 bill less than 5DMark II.
Sure, the GH1 bundle is palatable if you're in the market considering the K-7 and 5D Mk II, too (i.e. serious hobbyist or professional). I was referring to people (so-called soccer moms and the like) who might be in the market for an entry-level DSLR that does video. I'm fairly sure that they're the kind who would balk at a competing model that breaks the $1000 barrier while the other two choices don't.

I put what I heard.

The prime lens focal length is 30mm.

I didn't hear about super zoom - that doesn't mean there is no superzoom, but there is a telephoto zoom.

QuoteQuote:

Yes, there is a standard zoom lens. It is 18-55mm, but he didn't give me the speed of it.
He mentioned that when NX10 was compared with 500D and G1 (GH1??) with their standard zoom lenses, NX10 showed best image quality.
Sure, it doesn't mean the standard zoom lens of NX10 is the best, but the lens can be considered as its performance is good enough.

I didn't ask. :ugh:

I heard that EVF spec. was not decided till quite recently. But it will be most likely VGA level.

I didn't hear about future lens plan.

That's about it.

I don´t know if you see this picture the "big zoom" is bigger than Tamron 55-200 for example and it Tamron is a telezoom for DSLR.
I think if that zoom is a telezoom should be smaller.

¨
PS: is it a 50-200mm or a 50-300mm??

- The body is a little thicker (compared to the NX shown in the youtube video) and slightly redesigned grip and EVF area

- Cmos sensor 14.6 megapixel 3:2
- 100-6400 ISO
- 4 frame per second
- Video HD 720p/30fps
- Audio stereo
- 1X magnification and 100% coverage
- 3″ AMOLED 960×720 (720p) 3:2 display with short response time
- Very fast contrast AF
- No in Body IS, but lenses IS
- Three prime lenses, probably a 30mm fast lens and two zooms (one is the 18-55mm lens)
- These lenses have double focus system: contrast AF motor-assisted and manual focus limited.
- Samsung plans release 2 more lenses in December, one zoom and one prime.

- K-mount adapter and M-mount (they won´t be release with the camera)

Samsung made a new lens mount for the NX because they had to. It is a camera without mirror so the camera can be made thinner and as a result of this the distance between the lens mount and the sensor is shorter than for K-mount cameras. The K-mount does not work with mirrorless camera, so Samsung had to make a new "micro mount".
They had to specify a different flange distance, but they didn't necessarily need to make the opening smaller. Making the opening smaller would make sense to maximize the size saving potential of the format but not mandatory.

It makes sense for Samsung to continue with K-mount for the 24x36, unless the new 24x36 is also a mirrorless camera with only electronic viewfinder. In this case, they can use a new enlarged version of their micro mount.
Or they could design their mirrorless mount to cover FF in the first place, in which case lenses usable on the initial NX (1.5x crop) would also be usable on an eventual FF if that's indeed the plan.

Holy shit...did you honestly just post the exact same thing 3 times in one thread? Are you also the kind of person that will re-tell a joke because you thought no one was listening...but in reality, they just ignored you because the joke was that bad?

This comparison is very tiresome. Shopping by price alone is stupid. I'm surprised you didn't throw in how good of a deal you got on your 5DI

Let's see...I could buy an Acura MDX for about 45 G's or a Nissan GT-R for around $90k. The GH1 is about half the price of the 5DII, as well. The Nissan appeals to me more but I wouldn't drive it in the winter. The MDX isn't as fun to drive (by far). Does this comparison make sense? Absolutely not...just like comparing a 4/3s cam with an EVF to a FF cam with an OVF. The SUV and the sports car both roll on 4 wheels and have doors and headlights on the front end. Actually...both have V6 engines. Just that the Nissan has a turbo on each bank

I'd rather have the more expensive car but then I'd have to buy a winter beater as well. The MDX is a nice ride, but I don't like driving tall vehicles. Apples to radishes.
