There's been a drought of production version reviews of the K-7 on websites lately, so I thought this might be of interest.

I think the "heavy Moiré pattern" is due to sub-optimal de-mosaicing of the sub-sampling matrix as described here in another thread (jaggies). It can be somewhat reduced with postprocessing.

The image-breaks only appear on the rear screen and aren't in the recorded movie. Also, if you play back a movie, sometimes you will see such a glitch which isn't in the movie, actually. It's a play-back problem, not a recording problem. At least if I am correct and we are not seeing a glitch I missed in my tests (what would be perfectly possible).

Interesting comparison to Canon 500D video in low light

A little odd, the cameras they list as comparison models. I would have thought they would compare it to the D90 and canon 50D, but what do I know?

They haven't done reviews for either, so it's not surprising. Their DSLR review database is a bit limited to date. The D5000 is a useful proxy for the D90 in many respects.
