I think the "heavy Moiré pattern" is due to sub-optimal de-mosaicing of the sub-sampling matrix as described here in another thread (jaggies). It can be somewhat reduced with postprocessing.
The image-breaks only appear on the rear screen and aren't in the recorded movie. Also, if you play back a movie, sometimes you will see such a glitch which isn't in the movie, actually. It's a play-back problem, not a recording problem. At least if I am correct and we are not seeing a glitch I missed in my tests (what would be perfectly possible).
