In another thread, a poster mentioned that some Best Buy stores keep K-7s in stock - news to me. Any Texas folks been able to "audition" a K-7 at a Best Buy?

I haven't got to use one yet. All I saw were 5D mark iis, 5Ds, 50D, D60, D300.
*sorry. Just FYI, Sugar Land is southwest Houston area.

I'll probably end up in a BB in the next couple days...I can check and see if they have anything marked Pentax

There are no Best Buy stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that carry the Pentax K-7 to my knowledge. I believe it is an internet purchase only item.

Thanks - we live in Lake Jackson, so we shop in Sugar Land occasionally (one of my bikes came from Sugar Cycles).

That's what I thought - we have one of the truncated versions of BB here in Lake Jackson, and it certainly doesn't carry any Pentax DSLRs. I was hoping that one of the bigger stores in the Houston metro area, like the one in Pearland, might have one to try.
