Samsung 85mm f1,4?

Some says that Samsung began designing lenses, especially a 85mm f1.4:
</title> <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content=text/html; charset=EUC-KR> <link rel=StyleSheet HREF=skin/DQ_Revolution_BBS/style.css type=text/css title=style> <script language='JavaScript'> var select_obj; function ZB_layerAction(name,status) { var
SLR?? Samsung ??????

It would be quite interesting. Is anyone a korean speaker around here?

I don't read Korean, but looks to me like the Samyang 85mm 1.4, talked about in this threadhttps://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/46479-review-s...erical-if.html

The Samyang is said to be a manual focus lens. I don't read Korean neither but I bet that if Samsung has the intention to release this lens or another one, it'll (...should) have the autofocus.

Does someone read korean here ?

I posted the thread English translated in

[News]Samsung 85mm/f1.4 for K-Mount Test Shot: Samsung Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

In according to the thread and comments, it is developed by Samsung 100%.

There are more lenses - 60mm Macro, 300-OIS/f2.8.
It is not very sure it is Samyang design or not. But, basically Samyang 85mm lens is MF and Samsung 85/f1.4 is AF.

The MF 85mm F1.4 lenses from Korea also work great with the Pentax 1.7x AF adapter.

Nope. If you look closely, you can see the lens is designed much like the Samsung lenses with the "SA" logo block on the lens. It even has the blue ring. Although releasing an 85mm as the first FF lens from Samsung is kinda odd. Google translate also translates the page into a bunch of gibberish (you can pick up a few words but that's it).

If a 70-200mm (or 80-200mm ) and 24-70 (or 28-70mm) pops up over the internet, we have no doubt that some form of FF camera will be released by Samsung. Too bad I'm broke...

How did you possibly get the pics on here? Everytime I right clicked it, it would give me some Korean message.

If you compare the 85mm f/1.4 to the Samsung kit it's pretty obvious this is a Samsung developed lens. Both feature the blue ring and the big block (although the rez isn't high enough to tell what it says)

Viewed the page source to find where the images were located on the site.

Lenses have to come first I guess... Who knows. I can obviously tell that camera is a GX-20/GX-10.
