Will Pentax replace the K200D, and if so, what will it be?

I've been told so but the details are sketchy at this time. In the mean time the K-m's successor is around the corner.

Yes. I am actually a bit bedazzled of the strange silence ... looks like Hoya is getting better and better at both making cameras and stopping the leaks with every new model.

According to the german DSLR-Forum a K200D-replacement will be anounced on September 17th. A user reported there, that pentax shows at the "road show" a Banner of a Pentax K-X. German DSLR-Forum translated
