was offered 1400 for a K7 body, and 21something for K7 +17-70 SDM, but since they didn't have bodies (and i needed it sooner rather than later), i got K7 18-55 Kit for 1705

USD1322 (body, adorama, landed) = aud1515 + duty & GST = 1739 by my bad calculations...

DWI is the best i've seen for the k7 but they only have the body, no kits.

B&H is listing the kx already. @650 for the basic kit (usd)

Also I believe that DWI are grey importers.

Yes they are, my K20 through them came from Hong Kong but on thier website they state that all products have a full 12 month warranty.

There's no duty on camera gear, though I'm not sure if Customs will slap on any charges

Had no probs with DWI, delivery was with Australia Air Express and the price now is $865 for body only, and that is a great price for a brilliant camera.

well i had to send my k20d in for a warranty so i would probably avoid over seas...
even if they have a hong kong warranty it is still painful to send it back.

the price locally isnt that much more expensive imo

The sad thing still here is that at the price of $865 from DWI,you can nearly buy two bodies for the price of one K20D with a kit lens,which are still around the $1300-$1500 dollar mark in a camera retail shop.So to me DWI does seem very tempting,knowing that ozlizard didn't have any problems at all.
