Anyone noticed if K-x has AF correction for 20 lenses like K20D/K-7? I'd love to upgrade my K-m, but my incosistent lens (DA 21 BF, DA 40 FF) are keeping me from upgrading (I use debug mode of K-m to correct these).

Is it me, or is that drastically higher than most Pentax dSLRs to date?

edit: or am I confusing Lithium battery life with NiMH battery life?

I don't see how 4.7 fps is just considered to be reasonable. Canon's top entry level only does 3.5. You have to get to the XXD series to even get 5 fps.

well. someone mentioned about the improved NIMH batteries that gives a better performance, so i guess the test was done base on the best batteries on the market, of course.

In the pic it seems like they still use lith energizer, so nvm my comment.

Canon's entry level camera, the 1000D, only takes 1.5 FPS in RAW, has a 2.5 inch LCD, and the $100 extra crappy Canon kit lens adds IS. Not to mention having a reduced AF system, along with many other reduced features from a camera like the T1i. The price tag on this camera when it was released was $799 I believe.

The SR mechanism in K-x is 10g lighter than that of K-m.

About the focus point: maybe dpreview got it wrong - my guess would be that it's like on the k100d, ie you see the focus point when you choose focus point select mode.

Anyway, this looks just awsome. Beats my K10d to dust except for control wheels, VF and sealing.
