Samsung licenses for Iridex technology...

You can see this technology on Olympus, Nikon and Sony cameras, in this as DRO system and working very well...

I've used Sony cameras with DRO. It's OK, but there isn't often a big difference without a big increase in noise. It's nothing I can't do better in post with a little time, but more features are always great to have.

The Alpha DRO is very good with ISO 100-200 and extreme contrast light condition and yes it add noise...
