K-7 will be available in colors too!!!! Confirmed with image!

Due to the great succes of the colored K-x Pentax has decided to bring out coloured versions of the K-7 as well.

Because of the huge demand all Pentax staff, right up to Ned Bunnell, are withdrawn from their duties and are busy in their offices, at home on the kitchen table as we speak in order to get as many colored bodies as possible....

My source only spoke of K-x but the picture (secret, taken during coffeebreak at Pentax Hoya HQ ) he sent me clearly indicates that they are also working on coloured K-7 bodies!!!!

Exiting times for sure!!!

Looking at those colors I think your closing remark tagged it perfectly:

Exit-ing times!

Probably just going to give it a shower before the paint dries up afterward?

Sure doesn't look like a PS job. The paint is pretty vibrant and I wonder if it's oil based?

Woh, what did you do, janneman?!?
I knew from before I clicked in that it was a joke, but this!?!

Those look like heavy duty paints that won't come off all that easy...
Or perhaps you were intent on painting the rest of the lens and camera?...

I would be glad to buy that k-7 at a heavily reduced price, due to paint damage

I say it's a frame-up. No Pentaxian could afford to paint that lens!

Ofcourse, waterpaint would come off when used in rough weather, and the camera is sealed..

I did not do anything, remember this is from Pnetax HQ. I have even heard that Hoya's Mr. Suzuki is actually helping out as they are impressed with the impact of the clored cameras.
And the paint is NOT intended to come off easily ofcourse..
