k-x with kit lenses in colors???

will the k-x in white come with the option of zoom lenses in white? Right now all i can find on the net is the white k-x with the 18-55mm... Does this mean they will not be offering the 50-200, or the 55-300 kit lenses in white? can yall post of some pics if you have seen them with this option?

yep, those two DA L versions come in white, heard nothing about the 55-300mm and whether it will be in white - even though there is a DA L version

The 18-55 apparently also comes in red (cf. press release on DPReview), but is not shown in blue on the blue body.

yep, blue comes with black lenses :\

Think anyone will want my white DA-L kit lens? white lens on black body anyone???

Please offer a white body only!

thats what im hoping for. Im not too interested in spending extra money for the DAL lenses...

Haha, yeah same boat. But you know you are going to end up spending that $50, because otherwise you will always kick yourself for not getting the white version (because we all know it takes better pictures!)

I am trying so hard not to order the body only from Adorama through ebay. I have $20 in ebay bucks that expires on 11/08, and 8% off through bing.com brings a k-x black body only to $530 (I can't believe it just came out and can be had that cheap!). I am dying waiting for the white kit. checking ebay a dozen times a day (and every other site). Why couldn't all the colors come at the same time?!

I could've had the black body last week - I've already waited so that's reason enough to wait a couple more days to get the white one! From what I've heard and seen, I think I'd prefer my black 18-55 DA II lens on the white body, but in the interest of money for other lenses I may sell the II lens.

$530 is a pretty smoking deal though, I might say.

It would still be $550 with just the bing cashback, still pretty awesome. Last week prodigital2000 (ebay only pentax reseller from Canada that ships free to US) had the black kx/18-55 kit for $599 - they are already undercutting MSRP! Although bestbuy is as well (shows as out of stock for each listing they have had - currently they only have the black 18-55/50-200 kit listed as out of stock at $699, but have also shown the 18-55/55-300 at $799, and the white single lens kit at $599 - all listed as out of stock though, they really got my hopes up when that was up on their site last week!)

And to think the uproar it caused here on the forums when the k2000 came out in white. Hehehe, I guess those of us that thought it was a clumsy move on the part of Pentax are eating crow.
