Oh, I agree; in fact, I think Pentax should weather-proof their whole line of lenses and leverage that for sales. However, there are other prime lenses that should have a higher priority than a WR 100mm macro. In order or priority:
  1. Fast normal affordable APS-C lens, like a DA 28mm f/1.7.
  2. Fast 135mm-equiv, like a DA 90mm f/2 Ltd or DA* 90mm f/1.4.
  3. Fast 200mm-equiv, like a DA* 135mm f/1.8.

Once these empty slots have been filled, and only then, should Pentax start thinking about replacing currently available lenses.

I agree with that, especially the 28mm (although I'd rather see a 35mm f/1.4). But I would go ahead and make all DFA lenses instead of DA. I also think they should brand their DA lenses that work fine on full frame (like the 200mm, 300mm, 60-250mm) with the DFA moniker. I personally would be more inclined to drop cash on primes that work on both formats.

I can say with probability 100% - we will never see ANY DA90 and DA135/1.8.

There are DA70, FA77 and DFA100. No any space for DA90.

As for DA28/1.7 - I doubt too.

Only DA135/2.8 LIMITED could be real.

Why do you doubt a fast normal? Pentax is the only brand lacking one.

DFA100/2.8 macro WR could be real.

Or it couldn't be real!

Post from a German Pentax Official:
DSLR-Forum - Einzelnen Beitrag anzeigen - WR! Pentax DFA 100mm 1:2.8 NEU?

According to his post the image is a fake, which of course does not mean there is nothing in the making.

I agree completely. Pentax are you listening? If they were to make these lenses, they would have the unchallenged, most bad-ass aps-c lineup.

Mis, I sat here for a while trying to come up with better ideas, I failed. They are indeed the first three lenses Pentax should add.

On the other hand, as has been said earlier the point of doing a DFA 100/2.8 WR is totally obscure and therefore it's going to happen for sure.

On the other hand, I think it would be more 'Pentax' if they introduced a 'DA 100mm f/4 Macro Limited' without aperture ring that only magnified to X0.5 and then never brought out a matching converter for x1.0.

Not Photoshop nor CAD

Haven't you all used Photoshop? This image was certainly not created in Photoshop.
And CAD has nothing to do with that either. It might be a rendering (with programs like V-Ray or Maxwell for example), but a very good one with excellent materials. It's not engineers that can make such renderings but visualisation specialists (part of my job) or hobbyists.
I think it's a picture prepared by the marketing department for press releases. Or a rendering by a very talented but very idle artist (it would take me around 3 days full time to make a rendering as good). And I think the design decisions are just right from the kind of font used and it's color to the ribbing and the distance scale window.

To this list I would only add a lens option at 20 mm or wider at f/2.8 or faster, even if that would mean a a large and expensive lens like the Sigma 20 mm f/1.8. With these four lenses, Pentax would replace its old fast wide, its old affordable normal, and its old staples at 135 and 200 mm (especially if one of these two lenses was a macro).

Maybe a lot to ask, but it would take Pentax's current prime lens lineup from very good to great.

Here is another picture somebody posted on dpreview. You can see parts taken from DA 35 limited, together with slide out hood, which screams fake.
