Samsung NX will have a k-mount adaptor

NX10 is very close from the launch and more info.: Samsung Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

I saw it on the Internets so it must be true!

That would make very little sense given that it's almost certainly contrast-detect. Phase-detect can be off a little without the camera knowing, leading to inaccuracy, but contrast detect uses data straight off the sensor so if it's not accurate, the camera will know and should correct it.

I think the original poster meant he doesn't have an accurate estimate of the AF speed. This is how Asian English usually works :P

Well yes, what I read into it is that AF speed seems to be on same level as the Panasonic GH-1 but that his estimation may not be accurate.

I have no own opinion in this discussion. Just a minor point of clarification.

Contrast detect autofocus isn't necessarily more accurate than phase detect. The reason is that contrast detect autofocus may not use every pixel but only every n-th pixel out of them, working on a subset of full data. This can lead to approximate and sub-optimal focus.

I have no idea if this is or can be the case with the NX. I am just providing detail to prevent people to jump to conclusions here.

Don't throw stones when in a glass house.

Just about all my lenses on the K20D needed adjustment, while all on my 5 Canon bodies were dead on. Fast AND accurate, and boy, it's nice to have that.

I don't mind making adjustments as long as the focusing is consistant, if you do get that with Canon it just goes to show everyones experience is different.

This is probably true. I hadn't considered that.
