A stylish short German[?] video ad for the K-x.

Pentax K-x = the camera for young hipsters and fashionista seems to be the message.

Not a bad message I suppose.

Looks like it may also be part of a series, in the vein of the '100 colours' 100 people ad concept you can see on the Pentax Japan K-x minisite.

This is about marketing being a marketer's tool--which, if Pentax is the advertised product, is nice. And yes, the video is cool--even if I'm not in the category of people to which it appeals.

Besides, hipsters have a lot of cash, and are easily separated from it. That...that reminds me of some old adage...

This is exactly the group of people they should be marketing the K-x to. Young, hip people who are prepared to spend money to stand out from the crowd. People to whom Nikon and Canon are too mainstream.

I can pretty much guess what the words in german are describing, but the 3rd and 4th string of words... something about the SR and then something about it being compact?

and in regards to poster #9 Kevin, that's kinda why I bought my K10d, wanted to stand away from canon and nikon... though i'm def. no hipster! I just liked Pentax were different and not every tom dick and harriet had one...
