nowone seem to saying anything about this news..
so here I go..

As I see they've done something about the battery issue..

I have been having issues with switch on with some batteries and short battery life (even with low leakage type NiMh batteries not that good).
After putting in V1.01 firmware this seems to have improved the situation significantly. With 2000mAh NiMH batteries I have just shot over 400 photos (including some LV and some with flash) and downloaded them with the same batteries and they are still going strong (although orange indicator is now showing).

Very pleased with battery perfomance now (although still coming to grips with getting consistent results with my shots).
