Lens Price Drops, Toronto?

Hi All,
Henry's are running a whole bunch of lens specials on their website (i've removed the link - just google it).
I don't know whether this is temporary, but I thought I'd share.
50-135 down to ~900CDN grabs me as a bit more realistic

I saw that this past Friday...$ 400 off on the Pentax 12-24...much more realistic then the regular Pentax price in Canada of $ 1299. Have a feeling it's a temporary Henry's sale, but kudos to Henry's for great Xmas prices.

It sucks how a sale has to occur in order to get the prices to "realistic" levels.

I hadn't noticed the jump in M42 to K adaptor prices from $25 to $70 before. I picked up 3 at the old price last year.

It's also interesting that Henry's is still selling the K20d for $1k body only and in kits with water resistant lenses when the camera has had clearance pricing for months in the US.

ditto that.

Thank Pentax for sticking to such well loved mount that we can all still continue to enjoy LBA despite wonky pricing of OEM digital-era lenses.

As per my normal mantra, check out Aden Camera. SOme lenses are way cheaper at Henry's (12-24) but some way cheaper at Aden (FA77, DFA43 etc).

Gee if anyone i slooking for a 12-24 or 77 new then this is the chance it appears but it's still around $100 cheaper to ship the 12-24 in from J+R in NYC.

There is a 77/1.8 on the marketplace for $650US which isnot bad.

I'm having a tough time deciding, K7 or another set of 16-50*/50-135* ...today i went by Blacks no K7 and no lenses tomorrow i dunno

everyday it's been K7 or another set of 16-50*/50-135* the range i sue 99% of my travel time on the K200D, i can afford all three but i've been trying to be good since i went Nikon 700 with no lenses awhile back need to get lenses for that

but...but...ummmm...you can buy the 50-135 for $819 at Amazon tonight and have it to your house by Wednesday for an extra $4 if you have Amazon Prime...Canada prices are still higher than the US price as a rule since the exchange rate is about even right now (94% of the CDN price gives a reasonable estimate of the price in USD)
