I'm not surprised there is no "bargain". The US "Official" online pentax store has no bargains either.

It's "only" a pentax store in UK, or it's "THE" European Pentax online Store ?

And you can't even get a M42-converter...

I'd say fail.

Why bother? They would be better off either selling the stuff at realistic prices or save the money and spend it on some proper QC for their lenses. Who is going to but the DA 12-24 for £1299?

The point of the online store as stated by Pentax is not to bypass the retailler but to offer an easy way to buy the accessories, like focusing screen that are not part of the retaillers.

So I'm not at all surprised by high lense prices, this is not the point of this website.

Regards,
Guillaume

But were are those accessories? Some cables and standard neck strap, that's all...
I know a retailer who can supply focusing screens, lens caps, hoods and cases, viewfinder eyecups, you name it.
I don't know where is he getting all that stuff from, clearly not from Pentax UK, they don't have it

Given their silly prices and the service and value you get from top outfits like SRS, I just cannot see them surviving.
