Instead of "New K-8 with noise-free ISO 256,000!" or "New water-proof full-frame limited lenses!", it sure would be nice if speculation and hopeful posts made that clear in the title, so it's clear that they're not actually news or rumors at all.

I know, it's probably too much to hope for.

True, but if you know you're posting about something that there's no hint of in reality (other than "wouldn't be nice if"), then it's cruel to get everyone's hopes up with the subject line.

Or just be prepared to have cyberjunk thrown at you for titling a thread: "Pentax sales overtakes Canon and Nikon combined for its new K-ultimate camera and highly expanded DA* lens lineup"

Perhaps you might have more success if you start a thread in Site Suggestions Matt.
Adam might add the facility to categorise the titles in News and Rumours just as he has done in some other forums.
Including suggestions for categories would be helpful.

A year ago I posted how Pentax could remake the K200D but with an extra knob and a focus assist beam. Take a look at the K-7. *My* wishes do come true.

The K7 is certainly not the successor of the K200D.

Pentax listened to clearly to their buyers and added a lot of "needed" features (Magnesium body, 100% view finder, focus assist...)

It's not because your wish is realistic that it will become true.

Now seeing the normal craze in the "News & Rumours" forum, I can't wait and see what will be going on approching of Photokina 2010 ;-)
