I do love The Reg. For a tech site camera review, it's a pretty good one.

Idiot nerd commentary, though, leaves much to be desired. "There are more secondhand Nikon and Canon lenses!" Good luck using them.

The guy with the 5D (a class example of the 5D F*ckwit,) who prefers a bridge cam over a DSL - tangerine sedge. Oh, sure, you're using a 300mm 30-year-old lens on your Pentax...but it's surely not stabilised! And it's not AF!

Oooh, but sedge has got a 600mm Vivitar in M42 mount! Surely you can't use that on a Pentax! What do Pentax know about the M42 mount?

It's not worth it going into a "flame" war, only real Pentax users will appreciate Pentax even with whatever issues happens to come along. It still comes down to getting the image and if you're good with a Pentax so be it, don't stoop down to any flamer's level it's just not worth anyone's effort especially in photography.

Interesting review.

I don't make it a point to visit fora or comment on articles for a brand that isn't mine to show how superior my favored brand is. It's amazing how certain aficionados find it necessary to hunt opportunities to disparage a brand that they want us to believe is belief their notice. If I didn't know better, I might believe they're feeling threatened.
