New Samyang 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Pentax

It is better with Chromatic Aberrations than the DA 12-24mm and maybe a bit sharper in the corners. It is worse with distortion.

Effectivement , toutes les photos présentées sur le net, avec le Samyang 14mm , présentent une distorsion très importante.
Même si elles se corrigent au traitement, ceci est assez contraignant.
Je crois que je vais garder pour l'instant mon 12-24 avant de trouver mieux en focale fixe UGA
j'accepte vos recommandations

I agree. It makes sense if you already have the DA 12-24 to keep it. Samyang is much cheaper though and has a lot to offer for someone who doesn't have any wide angle lens.

Have the 14mm and DA15. Love both. 14mm does have an amazing resolution and great resistance to flare. Two minor concerns. 1 focusing throw is a bit too long which makes it harder to manually focus (usually the opposite for a regular lens). 2. can not take filters. You will not be disappointed by having this lens.
