What about new cameras in new colours??

K30 high end largish APS-C with all the fruit and lots and lots of buttons!
K7 mk2, compact version of the K30, but with less complex control arrangement!
K-y (lol) - k-x that glows in the dark!

I'm can't see how they make money off of the Titans....other than only creating them for PR/Marketting reasons. When I went to get a K20d, I ended up with the Titan. They did not sellout before the K7 was released and as such, they dropped in price. Once you factor in the grip and 2nd battery that comes in a Titan kit, the price was quite good.

Of course, it causes other issues....like LBA for the silver FA LTDs...

I'm sort of the opposite..
I have a silver 77 ltd and I want a body to match its color

I might have a chance to buy one, but it'd cost me a lot of trouble (ordering from japan). Anyway, I've never seen the real photo of K20d Titanium (only from ads). Wouldn't it too much if I ask you to post some pictures of it? It'll be a great help for me to decide.

Sorry if this is considered OOT.

They come up in ebay and on here from time to time.... Not the best shot as it was really intended to be a shot of the 1950s Auto-Takumar attached to it...but here it is. I am traveling right now and only have my K7 with me. I'll be back home in a week so if you need some other pics, you can send me a PM....

Steve

Woot, thank you smc and Terzof!
It looks much better than in the ads! And perfectly fine with black lenses too.

My thoughts exactly why should it be K7 titanium.

The K-7 doesn't need to be Ti, just need a magnesium alloy back to make it completed. It is a halfhearted product in its current form. But then Pentax never made a wholehearted K body b4.
