Pentax W90?

Apparently, there is a new Pentax W90 around the corner. The strange thing is, according to a British reliable dealer, nobody can talk about it due to a NDA.

Why would there be a NDA for something like a P&S? Do you think Pentax is about to revolutionize the P&S market?

There seems to be something strange going on.

I don't find it strange. Any product is under NDA until the appointed date of pesentation.

I've heard about W90 2 weeks ago. I thought it would be launched with I-10, H90 and E90

The new W90 would have some improved features over the W80:

deeper in the water
shock resistant
better looking and more rugged body

That's my guessing ...

Just got a W80 for work, might have to get a "W90" with improved battery life for home.

I just picked up a W80 on eBay for $150. I also used the Bing Cashback Offer to bring it down to $138 shipped.

An awesome camera for that price.

Yup! I guess that is my only beef with the W80..battery life.
I hope they get a fix for it via a firmware update but I would doubt it as it is a P&S.
