I believe these pictures have been around for almost a year now.
I think the one that's been around for a long time is this one:

it's slightly different from the other pictures (less buttons, for one).

@ogl,
do you think 645D will be weathersealed??
IMO yes, it looks like it and it would be stupid from them not to do it but we'll see. The issue is price of course.

Come on! It's not any uglier than the Nikon D3S, which looks like a normal DSLR which was fed too much anabolic steroids.

And it looks like a real camera made for outdoor use compared to the Hasselblads (not the original ones, but the new digital ones) which look like video cameras from the 1980's when compared

IMO the current Hassies in white would be a lot more StarWars-like than Km/Kx xD

Look I am sure it will be an amazing camera and take incredible photos but does it really have to look like a piece of space junk designed by NASA in the last century???

IMO you should check all the other digital MFs (but Leica). Really the Pentax is the best looking one (or not the worst one if you like).

Moreover, it really is like a 645 made digital. Nothing new here.

This one has been around for ages. The ones you first posted are from March 2009.

Check this link.

Is it possible that it's NOT a medium format camera?

Definitely yes. My guess would be a FourThirds sensor in a MF body

Don't think so, the smaller format bodies don't have that characteristic inverse curve on the casing round the viewfinder

Only if 1.7 x 24mm x 36mm is not enough for "medium format" in your book. Or if you think 100MB files out of a 24mmx36mm (or smaller) sensor sounds reasonable.

Somehow, I think they won't publish my comment on that article. :P
I gotta at least give this site respect for eventually posting mine and Steve's comments. :P

I wonder if the new selection of lenses will be backwards compatible with the film 645's, or if we'll have a repeat of the FA vs DA / DX vs FX development.
