Its just an observation. If VietNam collapses will this mean Hoya get to build Pentax gear at lower prices or higher prices ???
I don't know.
Obviously off shoring production out of Japan was meant for higher profits, not better quality control.
I hope Pentax succeeds. More competition means better products we get to consider.

Anyways, its not Pentax to decide, Pentax logo and brand got bought out, so its Hoyas little division to build~up or kill~off or as they said recently "partner~up"
Vietnam has financial problems. Thats in the news today.
