I find this rumor pretty hard to believe. Not sure what Pentax has to offer Canon, other than DA lenses and compactness in design. Of course, I have no say in where Pentax gets spun off to.

But it says on the site, "Pentax and other Canon products." I think I am going to buy a Canon strap and stick it K-7. Oh boy, go ahead, crucify my please.

I had a Sigma strap on a Pentax camera for a while. However it didn't give me the Sigma Image Quality, with the Pentax reliability i was after

Actually the DA "L" version are those lenses with plastic mount (18-55 & 55-300). The budget DA Lenses.. (am I correct here?)

Hi all, I have a k10d and a canon g10, can I really use the pentax ring flash on my g10 the way the pins are now or do I have to get a adaptor hot shoe .If i need a adaptor does pentax or canon make what I need to make it work .Thanks for your help in advance.

No adapter. Nobody would care to make an adapter for a competitorů*and for third parties iot is too expensive to reengineer 2 different flash protocolls and then build an adaptor. Most people buy a flash to go with their camera systems and wouldn't want to adapt a X-flash to Y-camera.

Your only bet is to use the ringflash as it is and try to prevent any accidental shorts, if the contacts really fall onto each other, by using some tape.
