It's definately a rubber seal around it, doesn't seem as solid as the K7 though.

However this looks more like the early prototype.

That's an old prototype. Anyway, on a bigger door the seals are going to look smaller - they could well be of a size with the K7 and the K10D

On the latest prototypes, compact flash have been supressed, it's all SD now.

(Which is logical since, they are cheaper, more convienient (no pin) and with wrtie speed no so far behind)

Actually SDXC is the format to go for in future. According to data on SDXC on the internet SDXC supports upto 2TB(2000GB) of storage and incredible write speeds upto 104Mbps to 300mbps(in future). Looks like CF is going to die.

Yeah... 'up to'. THe interface supports it. Nobody said the memory chips were capabable of only 1/4th of that. Marketing BS.
