I guess the million dollar question now is do I take the 899 price now, or do I bank on the prices following the K20D trends.

I'd been interested in getting a second body and I've been observing pricing for the old K20D. For those comparing the prices of the k7 and k20d, I'd say good luck getting the k20d for under $700 new from a legitimate retailer.

My observations are purely anecdotal, but on eBay i've been seeing them go from mid-$600 used to $719 Supposedly Never opened New. Of course, pricing often depends on included accessories, but I've been seeing upper $600 (closer to $700) for body-only.

It's basically almost a $200 difference from the Amazon deal. Anyhow, no tax, free shipping, and Amazon's easy return service would have me choosing the K7 instead of hunting for K20D deals.
