That's the coolest drop-in polarizer ever. Instead of being a "rear" polarizer as is used on telephoto lenses, it's a front drop-in polarizer for a super wide angle lens.
You can tell it's a super wide angle by the distance scale. If you use it as a hyperfocal chart and line the center of the infinity symbol with the f16 mark on the left side of the range it appears that the f16 on the right side will line up somewhere around the one foot mark (by estimation only of course). So the depth of field at f16 will be from around one foot through infinity. Only super wide angles can do this--it might even be a fish-eye? And f16 is not a diffraction issue with this size of sensor. Rockin' landscape lens there with the polarizer and all.
Drool...

The extra dial is to dispense kleenex's for the sobbing Canikon users.

My K-7 wants a FF sensor so my FF lenses don't have a 1.5x FOV crop.

from the looks of these photos, the 645D could be capable of being used as a walk around camera (provided you could afford the thing) I would so much rather have this than a FF canon or nikon. for the first time since the first rumors of this thing, I really want one. im seriously impressed. my 6x7 is jealous, even though he knows hes the better performer. serious camera envy with this thing.

Yessir! That is one good looking camera!

Can't hardly wait to show that to the local store which sells only Canikon! and constantly points out that because I own a Pentax, that is why they don't have much stuff that'll fit on it (them): i.e.: batteries, hoods, etc ...
I'll grab the link and copy it to my USB card, drive to the store and pop it in their computer.

I am sure some lucky and well-off fellow will soon throw some pics taken with what seems to be a very fine camera.

Awesome post, thanks!

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but are all those lenses previous FA lenses, new DFA lenses/mockups, or combination of the two? If they are new, that would explain where a lot of lens R&D has gone.

NSFH

My wife just walked in on me looking at this thread and from her expression I think she would have been happier if I was looking at naked women.

Needless to say I don't think this is in my budget any time soon. (though if I sell my car perhaps?)
