Where in the world did you pull that number from?

Do you mean out of POLITICAL sites? And if so, 38 ain't nothing to brag about.

And I can sure as hell guarantee you that there are a THOUSAND porn sites that get more hits than HP.

Can't say regarding the porn sites, but huffingtonpost.com has an excellent Alexa ranking:
Alexa Internet - Website Informationhuffingtonpost.com - Site Info from Alexa
#38 for traffic in the U.S. and #138 for the world...not bad, not bad at all...

Steve

P.S. For those not in the know, Alexa is the defacto industry standard for determining Web site penetration.

Hadn't heard of the Huffington Post until today.

However it looks like there is actually some real news on it. I will have to add it to my BBC, CBC, Al Jezeera list.

Thanks.

No, of ALL sites, as Steve Brot already documented in his post above.

It goes both ways. I'm perfectly happy to support local camera shops that support me. This means actually having what I want in stock. If it's special-order with a wacky return policy, what's the point?

Since we're Pentax people, in the US, it's pretty much guaranteed that if you go to a local shop, it'll be a wasted trip if you're looking for anything even remotely system-specific.

Great pictures for someone who hasn't done much photography in a number of years and needed a lot of advice before the shoot.

Using the kit lens with the KX...she did very well...I wonder how much better many of the 'pro's' did with their pro cameras and pro lenses...not a lot better I would venture to guess..

As the kids might say...the KX rules !!

Yep - agreed. I'll bet if we asked nicely and invited her to this treasure trove of knowledge and bile, she would happily share. She is a blogger after all.
