Hmmmh,

the new 50-150 II still carries the EX designation. The new 50-500 MTF curves haven't improved (if the same at all, the OS lens group will certainly eat some % MTF...).

It will really depend on the HSM AF. If for OS alone, the Pentax wouldn't need it. Maybe time for some screw drive Bigma bargain hunting?
The proof of the pudding will be in results when they come trickling in.I'm waiting to see what the consensus is before i plunk down the money--charliezap

Could somebody clue me in here? I thought the Bigma had been out for a long time. I have seen wonderful photos by people (lucky people) who have one. Is there a NEW version of this lens about to be released?

Yeah, I was also a bit confused. I thought I stepped into a time machine at first.

I think you'll need to give her a Bigma to get a Bigma.

In my case it's going to be a lot of "Smallmas" to get a "Bigma"--charliezap
