You KNOW he's not going to do that. I'd love to see the full version of that wedding shot. My guess? It's cropped to about 50-60%. My camera phone could do better.

It's funny that almost all the comments are very negative and one supporter stands out "Bob" I bet is actually Darren trying to salvage a huge mistake on his part.

Too bad Pentax had to be the whipping boy but I bet it will be a long time before this guy does another reveiw.

Him. according to the bio, its a him. though everyone seems to be calling him a her, even himself apparently. doesn't matter, it was simply a terrible review.

You are really getting into it with Bob. I can't figure him out. He doesn't want the negative stuff but always wants the last word which of course prompts a response....

Btw, I'm the "Steve" that posted twice and he didn't like my first post much either.

The comments are getting nasty over there, I don't think this is what they expected. But they are getting more comment replies than most articles get.
There is nothing more venal than an offended Pentax user.

that wasn't my goal I assure you. in fact, my first response to bob, I agreed with him over the RAW issue. I just think he is clearly defending Kim, and though I agree that there is no ned to be personally uncivil, I think kim's review shouldn't be defended it should be taken down. and to wheatfield, I would be the same way regardless of brand. I just think these 'reviews' do nobody any good, and in fact are more harmful if anything.

Allow me to correct you there, it would be "quelle bite!".

Just checked the Larousse dictionary. It's "bitte".
Dailymotion - les bernards : quelle bite - une vidéo Musique
My rather genious scientific online dictionary is saying:
QuoteQuote:
bite aussi: bitte f. [vulg.]
So, both spellings seem to be "correct".

It seems like it's a draw.

Damn, I hate when I'm not winning an argument about French language.

Perhaps that explains Pentax marketing prior to K-7?

Dearer/Clearer ??

"Dearer" means more expensive. The usage is not often found where I am (in the US) but it's very common in the rest of the English-speaking world. Of which there is a lot.

Kim's not clueless - he simply writes in English as he knows it. As he should do.

Give the chap a fair go.
